View on StockTwits ↗$MLPI vs OMAH. ……MLPI is more likely to maintain a higher base yield because it harvests high cash distributions from the energy sector as its primary engine. OMAH holds more stable companies, but its 15% dividend is "synthetic"—it is manufactured through options and is therefore more likely to vary month-to-month based on market volatility. OMAH is another options ETF based on Berkshire holdings with a 15% yield, but Berkshire holdings generate very little underlying dividends as opposed MLPI which has a very strong underlying dividend schedule.
