View on StockTwits ↗$BB My 2 cents on $BYD as an investment. First, it's a great company. They hire more engineers for every division -- auto, battery, robot -- compared to MOST other OEMs. All in all, BYD WILL probably become the world's biggest OEM. Sidenote on vertical integration: they already own 8 of their own giant RORO ships. The "problem"? BYD is totally focused on market share & product quality (e.g., using QNX). Their P/S ratio will probably stay at 1x or under even if they overtake Toyota, whose P/S is less than 1X.
View on StockTwits ↗@HMS_WarSpite I understand the words that you are typing, but the reality is very different. China is hugely successfully, globally. The CCP was created back in the 1920's.....so it's been going strong for over 100 years, and as you can see, their product is everywhere, their people are everywhere, and they're replacing the USA in the global influence game. Even if you support nationalism as opposed to globalism, you'd be hard pressed to argue China isn't readily taking on that role. $BYD is preparing to release their cars into Canada at the end of this year.....
View on StockTwits ↗@HMS_WarSpite I'm no fan of China, but you're crazy.....comparing China to Cuba...lol. They are a global behemoth who is currently consolidating power and advancing far faster than we can. Go look at how $BYD has taking over, internationally. Meanwhile, we've got (literal?) daily recalls from $F.
