Presenting on behalf of the company will be John Miniotis, CEO. John Miniotis brings 20 years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets, investor relations and corporate finance. He has served as President and CEO of AbraSilver since December 2019, following the successful merger with Aethon Minerals Corp, where he previously held the role of CEO and led the company’s capital markets and M&A strategy. Prior to Aethon, John was Vice President of Corporate Development at AuRico Metals, which was acquired by Centerra Gold in January 2018 for approximately $310 million. He also held senior roles at Lundin Mining, where he contributed to acquisitions valued at over $2 billion. Earlier in his career, John worked in mining equity research at Wellington West Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets, and Corporate Development at Barrick Gold. Mr. Miniotis holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst ($CFA) and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with high distinction, from the University of Toronto.
AbraSilver is an advanced-stage exploration company focused on rapidly advancing its 100%-owned Diablillos silver-gold project in the mining-friendly Salta province of Argentina. The current Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource estimate for Diablillos (tank leach-only) consists of 73.1 Mt grading 79 g/t Ag and 0.66 g/t Au, containing approximately 186Moz of silver and 1.6Moz of gold, with significant further upside potential based on recent exploration drilling.
