View on StockTwits ↗$COKE my only holding in this new fomc market defensive consumer staples like Coca-Cola Consolidated can outperform when the broader market struggles. A scenario could look like: * S&P 500 down 5–10% * High-growth tech down 15–25% * COKE earnings come in strong * Margins expand * Volumes hold up * Investors rotate into defensive, cash-generating companies In that environment, COKE could easily be up $10–20 while the market is red. $SPY $HOOD $NBIS

View on StockTwits ↗$COKE good fomc news for Coke 2% inflation is generally a sweet spot for COKE. For a bottler like COKE: ✅ They can usually raise prices 2–4% per year without much pushback because people keep buying Coke, Sprite, Powerade, etc. ✅ Labor, aluminum, PET plastic, fuel, and freight costs tend to rise more slowly when inflation is around 2%. ✅ Consumers are healthier financially than during periods of very high inflation, so beverage volumes hold up better.
