View on StockTwits ↗Edgewell Personal Care shares rose in after-hours trading Monday following a Bloomberg report that the company rejected an unsolicited takeover offer from private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners. The bid, valued at $30 per share, was deemed too low by the board, according to sources cited by Bloomberg. The stock traded around $25 in after-hours after closing at $22.72. Edgewell is up roughly 33% year-to-date, giving it a market cap of about $1.05B and an enterprise value near $ 2B. The company was spun off in 2015 from Energizer Holdings and owns brands including Schick, Wilkinson Sword, Hawaiian Tropic, and Wet Ones. Yellow Wood Partners is a Boston-based PE firm with consumer brands such as ChapStick, Dr. Scholl’s, and Noxzema in its portfolio. The rejection suggests the board believes the company is worth more than the offer, especially given recent share performance. $EPC $ENR

View on StockTwits ↗Energizer shares moved higher as investors reacted to the company’s stronger-than-expected fiscal Q2 2026 results and a post ex-dividend recovery bounce. The company reported adjusted EPS of $0.94, well above analyst expectations of $0.46, supported by pricing actions, supply chain optimization, lower costs, and a $47.6 million tariff refund benefit that boosted profitability. Energizer also reaffirmed its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance of $3.30–$3.60, with management pointing toward the upper end of the range. CEO Mark LaVigne said the company remains focused on restoring growth, rebuilding tariff-impacted margins, and improving long-term cash flow generation. The stock also benefited from technical support following its May 20 ex-dividend date for the quarterly $0.30 payout, as shares often recover after dividend-related price adjustments. $ENR
View on StockTwits ↗$ENR I'll take a 3 billion dollar buy out. The advisor who recommended it was talking about a $76 a share, that was several years ago. I think a p/e of 15 is fair compared to the competitors.
View on StockTwits ↗$ENR Is it time to start talking new CEO, demand a strategic plan, sell the company? This is on an 8 year steady decline.
View on StockTwits ↗$ENR Bond prices are holding up close to par. Div payout ratio is low. Great stock to sell puts on right now.
