  iShares MSCI Spain ETF fell 5.6% by midday Tuesday after President Donald Trump announced he would cut all trade with Spain. The move followed Spain’s refusal to allow U.S. forces to use its military bases for operations related to the strike on Iran. At least 11 U.S. KC-135T and KC-135R refueling aircraft departed from the southern Spanish bases of Rota and Morón on Sunday night after Madrid opposed the operation. Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said Spanish military bases “will not be used for anything outside the agreement with the United States and the United Nations Charter,” calling the U.S.-Israeli actions “unilateral.” On Monday, the Spanish government confirmed it had denied U.S. forces involved in the Iran strike access to its bases, prompting key refueling aircraft to relocate to other countries. $EWP

  President Trump has announced he's 'cutting off all trade' w/ Spain after the European nation refused to help the US with its military operation in the Middle East. "First of all, it started when every European nation at my request paid 5% which they should be doing, and everybody was enthusiastic about it, Germany, everybody, and Spain didn't do it. And now Spain actually said that we can't use their bases. "That's alright, we can use their base if we want we can just fly in and use it, nobody's gonna tell us not to use it. "Spain has been terrible. In fact I told Scott [likely Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent] to cut off all dealings with Spain. We're gonna cut off all trade with Spain, we don't want anything to do with Spain." Spain has warned the two countries (Us & Israel) that they are contributing towards 'a more hostile & uncertain international order'. $EWP $SPY $FEZ $UVXY
