The proposal has sparked optimism among investors and analysts who view the bid as a sign of confidence in the long-term prospects of Las Vegas.
The offer comes as Las Vegas has faced uneven tourism trends, pressured by higher travel costs and growing competition from online sports betting and regional gaming markets.
