Rescheduling just handed Surterra (and $SNDL) a massive edge in the Taurus $1.3M Tampa office rent lawsuit. Plus that case has been pushed to June 29th, of 2027. Zero Debt. Remaining stores from 1CM $MILFF , for the full 32 stores.
Here’s why this is huge:
✅ 280E is DEAD for state-licensed medical operators → Surterra now gets full tax deductions. That’s millions in immediate cash-flow relief.
✅ Federal DOJ/DEA Final Order (April 23) says state licenses = conclusive evidence for expedited DEA registration. They’re literally endorsing Surterra’s Florida license and operations.
✅ Taurus is chasing back rent + future lease payments on a vacated office. With a stronger balance sheet, no 280E tax hammer, and federal validation of the entire business, $SNDL/Surterra is now in a MUCH better position to negotiate, settle, or defend.
This lawsuit was always noise. Rescheduling turns it into a non-event.
