$PM $MO $BTI and $TPB reacting to FDA Modified Risk Tobacco Product authorization for select Zyn SKUs, allowing reduced-risk claims versus cigarettes. The approval explicitly states lower relative risk across multiple smoking-related diseases when switching from combustible tobacco. This marks a notable regulatory milestone for nicotine pouches, potentially strengthening category legitimacy and shifting long-term consumption trends away from traditional cigarettes toward oral alternatives.
