View on StockTwits ↗$SLOIF Didn't get down to the area I wanted but going to add this week bit by bit. Ideal is to see a red day this week and add heavier. Looking at the $SOI chart, the selloff has been a solid 40%+. That selloff started at a long time weekly FVG. So I expect a bit of choppiness here before a rise back to test that level on SOI at $200. So SLOIF back to $226 then eventually $275. Might get 100% gains here in the next few months.
View on StockTwits ↗$SLOIF On the radar. If gets down to $120 area, might be a tremendous opportunity.

View on StockTwits ↗$SOI / $SLOIF got crushed after ugly FY26 numbers, and honestly the legacy drag is hard to ignore. Revenue down 30%, EBITDA down nearly 50%, with mobile and auto still weighing heavily on results. Near term, the market clearly doesn’t want to pay for “future potential” while current profitability keeps deteriorating. But the interesting part is underneath the headline damage. Photonics-SOI crossed €100M revenue earlier than expected, and that matters because the long thesis was never about smartphones or legacy industrial demand. It’s about CPO and optical infrastructure tied to the AI compute transition. If you believe Soitec truly owns a critical layer in the future optical stack alongside the broader $TSM and $NVDA ecosystem shift, then the next 18–24 months become the real window that matters. The stock now basically comes down to one question: can the AI optical ramp offset the legacy decay fast enough?
View on StockTwits ↗$SLOIF +546% YTD and the wild part is commercial CPO volume still hasn’t really started. Feels like the market is front-running the optical compute cycle before the real ramp even arrives. If Soitec’s long-term growth outlook doesn’t fully include CPO demand yet, this story may still be earlier than most think. A lot of people see $205 and think they missed it. Maybe short term. But if the CPO cycle truly accelerates into 2027+, names tied to the optical layer could still be in the early innings of re-rating. $SLOIF $AAOI $COHR $LITE Follow me 👉@ChipDistribution7 for real-time updates and everything.
