MEMORY STOCKS ARE UNDER PRESSURE AFTER EARNINGS The selloff is hitting the entire sector, not just one company: $WDC -16% $SNDK -12% $MU -6% $STX -6% $SKHY -7% The surprising part? Both $WDC and $SNDK actually beat revenue expectations. But investors are looking ahead… $SNDK’s outlook pointed to slower growth, raising concerns that the memory supercycle may be cooling after a massive rally. The question now: Is this a buying opportunity or the start of a bigger reset? Welcome to my personal webpage for the latest trading ideas, strategies, and market insights.
View on StockTwits ↗$STX Amazing crookery… Yesterday they dropped it and today low $768 abd then boom 100 points swing.. and hlosing. Just mind boggling how they can do this.
View on StockTwits ↗Evercore's quarterly review of the June 2026 hard disk drive market highlighted stronger shipment growth and margin expansion at Seagate compared with Western Digital. Seagate increased total exabyte shipments 34% year over year to 218 EB, while Western Digital grew 22% to 231 EB. In the key nearline segment, Seagate's shipments rose 43% to 195 EB, outpacing Western Digital's 23% increase to 209 EB. Western Digital said slower exabyte growth reflected customer demand for more CMR-based drives rather than higher-capacity ultraSMR products. The company maintained its long-term target of roughly 25% annual exabyte growth as it ramps production of its 40TB ePMR drives and prepares to launch 44TB HAMR drives in the first half of 2027. Meanwhile, Seagate continues scaling its Mozaic 4 HAMR platform with two major cloud providers, with its first deployment already in volume production. $STX
