$VPL chatter on StockTwits

I AM CLAIRVOYANT (not really) 6/4/26 the day before the bad bad down down day of 6/5 I moved a sizeable piece from $PRASX , a clone of $AIA or $AAXJ or $VPL into cash. I was just like a deer in the headlights on 6/5, and should have b on that day. I ended buying $PRGTX a global tech fund on Monday 6/8 at 35.29 it closed friday 6/12 at 35.88 or + 59 pennies or + 1.67% in for days. selling prasx at 27.23 was nice, and it TOO has rebounded a bit, but the friday 6/12 close was 26.35. so essentially I saved 88 pennies, or 3.23%. Indeed, I still have a sizeable piece of prasx. a quick look at prgtx: only a 3 star. 1 year return 5/31 to 5/31/26 76.59% is that a lot ?? 3 year average 39.19% 5 year a DISAPPOINTING 11.04% 10 year 19.40% wow look at this Dominic Rizzo has been running the fund ONLY since 12/1/22. wow, he must walk on water. same name as former CUBS 1B Anthony Rizzo. I saw him on tv 10 days ago doing a MLB broadcast. fund make up 66% semis. go figure.

luckily, naively, and w/o premonition, we moved 48,000 from $PRASX on 6/4 to cash it is a clone of $EEMA and $VPL at 27.23 the price on 6/5 for PRASX WAS 25.22 the price on 6/8 today is 25.55 (I still own some shares) today, 6/8 I moved 48,000 into $PRGTX today's price is 35.29. just eyeballing a graph, prgtx closed at about 37.42 this helps stops the bleeding from the big big 6/5 decline

We just started about 3.5 weeks ago buying $MATFX (the T is for tech). We haven’t been in it for at least 7 years MATTHEWS ASIAN ‘tech’ fund. Back then it was a bit of a disappointment; also they are almost all Asian funds. Up tons in 2026 ytd. Added on Friday 5/15/26, a bigger piece. Got in cheap. It was our worst % down -5.21% for 5/15 Clone of $KWEB $VPL fseax, fpbsx HIGH MUTUAL FUND GRED

merrill llynch report: eurozone $IEV $FEZ is neutral UK is reduce japan is accumulate $EWJ asia ex japan is reduce; things like $VPL $AAXJ fseax, fpbfx Regional market likely to be driven in near term by slower economic growth in China and its impact on domestic demand, with exposure to higher energy prices through Australian natural gas production.

sold most of my SINGAPORE just now 3/9 3:12 pm edt 27.385. back on 1/6 s 200 at 28.935 cost basis 10/14 b 28.515 (biggest piece) 9/12 b 29.02 they are obviously a 100% energy importer and it is my most up % today in 1 account. it beats the others in a 10 day intraday $ACWX $VPL and $AAXJ $WFC noted analyst on cnbc just now (I like him) says buy large cap, mid cap, sell $XLE ... but wait wait for a 7 - 10% pb b4 you buy. ok, now we have some money to play with.
