$SPY $QQQ $CBAY $GME GAMESTOP OFFERING TO BUY EBAY FOR $125 A SHARE: WSJ
View on StockTwits ↗$MIRM Maybe I am wrong (hopefully not), but this stock reminds me of $CBAY. 1) Almost the entire capital was held by institutional investors. 2) Had a crazy run from 12 to 25. 3) Then it stalled for a while, until the buyout at 32.
View on StockTwits ↗@LMXPERTEN yes, most likely there are 5 of us active here. Unfortunately, I do not recall the name of the guy who brought me to this stock. I read his/her message on the incoming buyout on the $CBAY channel. I should definitely thank him/her for the recommendation.
View on StockTwits ↗$IXHL reminds me of $CBAY before the Gilead buyout. I held 2000 shares at $2.12 avg and sold at $12. If memory serves it was bought out around $30. I've already take 200% profit on this and will hold my remaining 50k shares through topline results. Patience gets rewarded, y'all.
View on StockTwits ↗$AIRE Not many sellers in this range, the price is consolidating nicely and could surge rapidly over 2$. Little float + AI sector + News this morning. View on StockTwits ↗$CKPT Gilead bought out Cymabay $CBAY for $4.4B, $32 per share in February 2024, six months BEFORE it got FDA approval for their liver cancer drug Livdelzi in August. Not only that, Gilead had to pay J&J another $320M to gain full control over $CBAY's featured drug, Livdelzi. Livdelzi is expected to generate revenue of at least $500M annually. $ALT $TNXP $CBAY Buyout Deal history: Licensing agreement In 2006, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) agreed to patent seladelpar for CymaBay Therapeutics. Acquisition In February 2024, Gilead acquired CymaBay Therapeutics for $4.3 billion. Buyout In August 2024, Gilead paid J&J $320 million to terminate the licensing agreement and buy out the company's global royalties for the drug, and avoid paying an 8% royalty on future sales. August 14, 2024, the FDA granted accelerated approval for seladelpar to treat primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) in a
View on StockTwits ↗$PLTR $SMCI $CKPT This is set to grow massive ! FDA approval Thank you tyrus6 for your DD ! $CKPT per share buyout comparison (this only emphasizes how crazily undervalued and underpriced Checkpoint is @$3.50.A $4.5B buyout of $CPKT's 48M shares would actually be around $93 a share. Gilead paid $4.4B this year to acquire 114M OS of Cymabay @$32 per share, in order to take possession of $CBAY's one drug, Seladelpar (which targets inflammation in liver cells) because Seladelpar is projected to generate revs of $500M to $1B yearly. (If you check $CBAY right now on Think or Swim or whatever platform, you'll see its OS, and August buyout price frozen at $32.)$500M to $1B is exactly what annual rev projections are for Unloxcyt. Even if you're a glass half-empty type of investor re the potential value of Unloxcyt, a $2.2B buyout of $CKPT would be $45 per share. This is why $3.50 is insane. Sellers are playing musical chairs vs. likely $CKPT buyout or partnership news.
View on StockTwits ↗$CKPT I messed up the math on this per share buyout comparison (thanks to JCB for pointing it out), but this only emphasizes more exactly how crazily undervalued and underpriced Checkpoint is @$3.50. View on StockTwits ↗$CKPT Sound familiar to UNLOXCYT? "According to various analyst estimates, Seladelpar is expected to generate peak annual revenue between $500 million and $1 billion per year, with some analysts predicting a potential peak as high as $2 billion depending on market penetration and adoption rates." The company that developed Seladelpar, $CBAY was acquired by Gilead Adds a few months ago for $4.3 billion.
View on StockTwits ↗$ALT Gilead has a demonstrated interest in hepatic indications (they acquired $CBAY for 4.3B earlier this year) and previous MASH failures, so our MASH program could be of interest to them and they could even be a suitor but I personally don't see it. They don't have enough cash on hand to acquire us and even if they were to come onboard, it would most likely be in the form of a partnership... which of course makes very little sense from a IP perspective. My money's still on $MRK
View on StockTwits ↗@str8bite This outfit is a completely different group from the last trials Joel Lewis is CEO now Trial design was done by former $CBAY CMO Pol Boudes. New CMO has a history of regulatory wins in hepatology Dr. Jamil. All backed by the massive wealth of Richard Uihlein.
View on StockTwits ↗He was at $CBAY as CMO prior to Galectin. He is a word class drug developer. Cymabay was bought by Gilead for $4.3b.
View on StockTwits ↗With the manipulation we have seen since OW and especially today in a green market, I would say we are getting very close. Same occurred with $CCXI and more recently $CBAY leading into buyout. This smells of desperation. Shorts will be crushed!
