Charter is the product of the 2016 merger of three cable companies, each with a decades-long history in the business: Legacy Charter, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks. The firm now holds networks capable of providing television, internet access, and phone services to roughly 59 million US homes and businesses, around 35% of the country. Across this footprint, Charter serves 29 million residential and 2 million commercial customer accounts under the Spectrum brand, making it the second-largest US cable company behind Comcast. The firm also owns, in whole or in part, sports and news networks, including Spectrum SportsNet (Los Angeles Lakers), SportsNet LA (Los Angeles Dodgers), SportsNet New York (New York Mets), and Spectrum News NY1. Charter plans to acquire cable peer Cox.

$CHTR very boring day. I knew it was priced in, but would’ve been nice to see maybe a 1 or 2% bump
View on StockTwits ↗$CMCSA $CHTR with Comcast broadband separating from NBCUniversal, arent Comcast and Charter the most natural potential merger partners in the world? Especially with all the competiton from fiber, fixed wireless and satellite.....
View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR To be honest I want it to go down again to 120 so I can go all in again and the buy backs finally at market prices!
View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR still believe something bigger is in the works. Target 500 share.
View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR now they will come out swinging against the shorts. Hence the insider buying.
View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR holy fuck if this thing goes down on low volume again today.... hahaha
View on StockTwits ↗@Pumper_Killa2 $CHTR the swing endgame is right here COX merger approval bought at 148 average, gonna be selling between 160 and 170 3680 shares to unload slowly I tought it would have took less time; it took 3 months total, Whabibi, the moral of the story is to remove yourself on a day by day selling pressure basis and be able to see the bigger picture, than can take time to occurs i am not long CHTR, never have been; there are numerous reasons to not be long on a big debt holder cable entreprise, but there are even more reason to buy it when it’s cashflow allows all stock share buyback whitin 3 years lol
View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR Probably sooner. This was from a July 14 2026 article on The Street (and severel other news outlets).
View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR Probably the news of the merger approval will take a bit to catch on, but if share price starts to go up based on it, and given the high short interest/low float combo, this might get pretty ugly for shorts and we might see and nice spike.

View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR if you are short please explain why? This will be insane.
View on StockTwits ↗$CHTR but why did I listen to that crap all day ^^ I mean I dont even live in the US... But I know now that people hate their electricity provider, the constant price hikes and data centers that get discounts but cost a lot in form of necesssary infrastructure investments... Also they hate AT&T.... oh Palestine was mentioned (was to be expected) and they hate Palantir and that Palantir helps ICE..... What a waste of time^^ I was hoping the result would be there before the stock exchange closed.... oh well..... So I think it will go up tomorrow. Closure is what we all wanted!
