View on StockTwits ↗$RVMD $SLS $GSK $NUVL Buy out can happens anytime given the overwhelming success? Ex: GSK closed the Nuvalent, Inc. acquisition on 15th July. Jideytro had FDA approval days later. That timing isn't a credit to fast integration; it's a feature of how these deals actually work that doesn't get discussed enough: the regulatory clock doesn't reset on a change of ownership. The ARROS-1 data was already filed. The review was already running. GSK wasn't buying a bet on whether the science would work, Nuvalent had already de-risked that. It was buying a position in an outcome that was, by closing, close to locked in. That's a meaningfully different logic than the one usually applied to biotech M&A. Buying pre-Phase Ill is a science bet. Buying at this stage is a timing and distribution bet, the value is in being the company selling the drug the day it clears, not in the probability that it clears at all. Here we are waiting for data but big pharma due to patent cliff has other plans. ✌️🙏❤️🩹

View on StockTwits ↗$SLS $ABBV $GSK $VRTX $MRK AbbVie paid a 49% premium for a drug with zero approvals. Here's why that's completely rational. Recently, AbbVie announced it would acquire Apogee Therapeutics for $10.9 billion, its largest buyout in over five years, according to Reuters. AbbVie is not alone. In 2026 alone: → GSK agreed to buy Nuvalent for $10.6 billion → Vertex is acquiring Crinetics Pharmaceuticals for $10 billion → Novartis bought Avidity Biosciences for $12 billion at a 46% premium This is the new pharma playbook. Internal R&D takes decades, but buying late-stage biotech assets is faster, more predictable, and increasingly the only way to protect revenue against patent cliffs. A ~49% premium sounds expensive until you compare it to the cost of having no pipeline when your patent runs out. SLS will keep on running towards its ultimate base upon upcoming Catalysts and Finally bidding war $240.00+
View on StockTwits ↗$SLS $GSK $NUVL GSK just paid $10.6 BILLION. That's what GSK is paying to acquire Nuvalent (NUVL). Big pharmaceuticals are in a buying frenzy with $380 Billion in patent expirations within next 2 years.
