Merck makes pharmaceutical products to treat several conditions in a number of therapeutic areas, including cardiometabolic disease, cancer, and infections. Within cancer, the firm's immuno-oncology platform, led by Keytruda, is a major contributor to overall sales. The company also has a substantial vaccine business aimed at preventing pediatric diseases, as well as Gardasil for human papillomavirus. Additionally, Merck sells animal health-related drugs. From a geographical perspective, 47% of the company's sales are generated from US human health (pharmaceuticals and vaccines).

$MRNA enters a high-stakes stretch. Moderna is due to report second-quarter results on July 31, 2026, but the numbers were not yet public before the U.S. market open. The clearest confirmed catalyst is therefore the FDA decision on its mRNA flu vaccine, mRNA-1010, scheduled for August 5. An FDA advisory panel voted favorably on June 18 for adults aged 50 and older, although a positive panel vote does not guarantee approval. I am watching cash use, cost reductions and whether management keeps its target of up to 10% revenue growth for 2026. The $MRK cancer-vaccine partnership remains strategically important, but near-term sentiment will likely hinge on execution and the regulatory outcome. Not financial advice. Do your own research.

View on StockTwits ↗$ABBV $LLY $MRK $PFE $VKTX I agree 100% and as @ihsvenoidea will back me up. We were in Arena Pharmaceuticals with quite possibly THE WORST Slimiest CEO ever but we got bought out for 100 by Pfizer after a 1/10 rs he was truly awful but Arenas SCIENCE was BEST IN CLASS by far. It always comes down to the SCIENCE. Hopefully we get a really strong BP partnership and they take over a lot of the calls. We can EASILY become a 500+ company in a few years
View on StockTwits ↗$VKTX SP will partially correct by last hour. It is becoming obvious. $LLY TZP will generate more than whole $PFE and $MRK this year. Likely more than whole $ABBV BL stupidity on ECs will not matter long term.

View on StockTwits ↗@John_morrris I honestly don't know if it's even worth it here since $MRK is supposed to have their new plant up and running be end of year. It would take longer to get it approved through FDA than it's prob worth. Maybe PSS just used that as a stick to move them into actually doing it sooner for strategic purpose. No clue on pricing but maybe if tice bcg is cheaper could do it. Rbcg is diff story and is supposed to be superior.
View on StockTwits ↗$IBRX and if $MRK actually starts to ramp up it's own BCG prodcution any day now, it should provide an immediate boost to sales of anktiva that have been somewhat constrained by the BCG shortage. So keep an eye for when that event happens hopefully by Sept if not sooner!

View on StockTwits ↗@dewmoore Seagen is not a great example because it had four FDA approved drugs generating revenues at $1.7 billion a year. BUT $RVMD is a fantastic example for those who want to dream big. $MRK recently offered $32 billion to buy this development stage biotech company because it invented another platform drug Daraxonrasib. GPS which works on WT1, which is expressed in about 20 different types of cancer, has the potential to also be a platform medication and some of the early stage testing on other cancers like multiple myeloma have been very, very encouraging.
View on StockTwits ↗$SLS buyout math and market history. First, remember that $GILD paid $5B for an AML drug that recently FAILED miserably. If a total failure is worth $5B, that sets our absolute floor RIGHT NOW at $22.73/share. The top oncology buyout this year currently sits at $11B ($50.00/sh for $SLS ). But once we hit topline data, we should easily bypass that to hit a $20B buyout ($90.91/sh for $SLS ), making us the highest of the year. Want to dream BIGGER?? $MRK 's Keytruda is the current king making $30B a year, but Merck has massive patent cliffs coming up in 2028 and they need to replace that revenue. A $30B valuation puts $SLS at $136.36/share. Or look at $PFE dropping $40B on Seagen. Seagen was supposed to absolutely kill it in the cancer market, but they too FAILED to live up to the hype. If we can get that $40B Pfizer money, that’s $181.82/share. The upside here is massive. GLTA now back bed and dreams :)
